A Camp Moon River Arts & Crafts Counselor will spend the majority of time at Arts & Crafts supporting the Arts & Crafts Specialist. Responsibilities will include preparation and clean up, helping with ideas for content in Arts & Crafts, assisting campers with projects, and helping with all areas of Arts & Crafts as needed. You may also be assigned a bunk with another counselor, who will serve as a bunk counselor. Bunk counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper and have the opportunity to inspire, comfort, support, and lead by example. All counselors have the potential to be superheroes. Counselors are responsible for carrying out activities while guiding campers in their personal growth.
Counselors should be interested in working with children and possess maturity, flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to have fun. Counselors will be assigned to either a Program Specialist, a bunk of campers, or, in some cases, both.
